UDUR ST. MORITZ
How it all began.
During a summer vacation in Italy the scent of Elba was discovered. The entrepreneur Eveline Fasser Testa was inspired and developed the concept. In St.Moritz there are many different souvenirs to take home: visual memories, culinary taste experiences, pictures and a lot of other reminders of St. Moritz. However, there was nothing that addressed the scent and created the emotional link to St. Moritz reminding visitors of their unique and unforgettable journey to the beautiful town and valley. The entrepreneur developed, in close collaboration with the perfumer Geza Schön, the first scent INVIERN. Inviern means „winter“ in our local language Romanisch. The scent of St. Moritz INVIERN is the freshness of a cold winter day in the mountains. The scent is available as home fragrance with rattan sticks as well as a scented candle and a soap. From the beginning, the idea was to create a line of scent uniquely for ST. MORITZ. The second scent, ENGIADINA, was following in the summer of 2015 and was inspired by summer hiking trips up the mountains of the surrounding Alps, walks around the Engadine mountain lake and excursions into lush green mountain meadows covered in Alpine flowers. Engiadina means «Engadin», the inspiring high-lying valley in the Alps, in our local language Romanisch.
St. Moritz is the world’s most scintillating winter sports resort. Its name is protected as a trademark and stands worldwide for elegance and high class. Winter tourism was invented here in 1864, and no other resort celebrates it in such style. Guests from all over the world enjoy the chic alpine ambiance and the irresistible combination of the finest powder snow in the Alps, superb hotels that set new standards in luxury, a packed calendar of top-level international events and famously seductive shopping in a compact area.
